Reigning World half marathon champion, Peres Jepchirchir is set to defend her title in 2023 Riga World Athletics road running championship on October 1st.

Daniel Ebenyo, the10000m World Athletics Silver medalist will headline the men's line-up, which includes half marathon star, Sabastian Sawe.

Three-time World champion, Faith Kipyegon will feature in one mile. The multiple World record holder will be joined by Nelly Chepchirchir and Beatrice Chepkoech who is fresh from breaking 2000m SC World record.

Men.

Mile: Reynold Cheruiyot, Abel Kipsang, and Kyumbe Munguti.

5km: Nicholas Kipkorir, Stanley Waithaka, and Cornelius Kemboi 

Half marathon: Sabastian Sawe, Daniel Ebenyo, Benard Kibet, Charles Langat, and Samwel Mailu.

Women.

Mile: Faith Kipyegon, Beatrice Chepkoech, and Nelly Chepchirchir.

5km: Lilian Kasait, Caroline Nyaga, and Beatrice Chebet.

Half marathon: Peres Jepchirchir, Janet Chepngetich, Irene Kimais, Margaret Chelimo, and Catherine Reline.
