Rhonex Kipruto to run half marathon, in a World record course

Lisbon half marathon course, holds the World record in Men's half marathon. In 2021, Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo run 57:31, the current World record.

Rhonex Kipruto of Kenya, the10km World record holder in 26:24 is scheduled to run Lisbon Half marathon due on March 12, 2023. The 24-year-old, is the third fastest man in half marathon with a massive time of 57:49

The iten based runner, will be aiming to improve on his personal best, which is 18 seconds short of Kiplimo's World record. If all the conditions are favorable, including Kipruto's form, then we are about to witness another World record in half marathon. 

Star studded field assembled in Lisbon is stupendous. More than ten athletes with 'sub 60' in half marathon, will toe the line in World's fastest course.

Rodgers Kwemoi KEN (58:30), Hagos Gebrhiwet ETH (58:55), and Sabastian Sawe KEN (58:58) are some of the notable stars, ready to give their best shot.
